About the Pass

Not at this time. The Birmingham and West Midlands Pass has been specifically designed to help visitors save both money and time through the use of the product for all audiences.

No, the Birmingham and West Midlands Pass does not include transport yet.

The Birmingham and West Midlands Pass is valid for one, two or three calendar days. This means, for example, if you purchase a three day pass and activate your pass on the 1st January, then your pass would be valid for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd January. Your pass would expire at 23:59 on the 3rd January.

Yes, all Birmingham and West Midlands Passes are to be used on consecutive calendar days. For example, if you have a three-day Pass and start using it on a Wednesday, it will be valid for that day, Thursday and Friday.

The Birmingham and West Midlands Pass is not a fast track pass.

Buying the Pass

An Adult Pass is available as a one, two or three day pass and is priced at £70, £95 or £120 respectively.

A Child Pass is available as a one, two or three day pass and is priced at £55, £80 or £100 respectively.

Yes, if you purchase your Birmingham and West Midlands Pass now then you will receive your booking link which will allow you to start pre-booking into some attractions giving you more time to plan your visit to the region.

Child passes are suitable for children aged 3 – 14 years inclusive.

Please note some of the attractions included have free entry for children under 14 years, and most are free to children under 5.

We recommend that you check individual attraction entry prices before purchasing a child pass to make sure it is right for you.

Using the Pass

The Birmingham and West Midlands Pass comes with access to a booking app to enable you to easily pre-book your attractions where required.

To access the app follow the link provided in your sales email. Here you will be able to view your pass QR code, activate your pass and see which attractions require pre-booking.

In the app you will find all the attractions included with the pass grouped by booking requirements:

Attractions: Pre-Book
Choose your date and time slots in the app to book your visit. The tickets are downloaded to ‘My Wallet’ within the app. Present the tickets generated when you arrive at the attraction.

Attractions: Walk-Up
For these attractions no booking is required – simply present your pass QR code when you arrive at the attraction.

Discounts
View the exclusive discounts available to pass holders. You will need to present your pass QR code to redeem the discounts.

Make sure you check the booking app before travelling to see which attractions require pre-booking and for instructions on how to book, and book your tickets in the app if required.

Then, when you arrive at each attraction, simply present your tickets or the Birmingham and West Midlands Pass QR code at the entrance. This will allow you free admission.

The Birmingham and West Midlands Pass needs to be activated from your pass app.

To access your pass, follow the link in the sales confirmation email you receive. If you have purchased more than one pass, they will all be accessible via the same link. Here you will be able to select the date that you would like to start using your pass and activate it.

You will need to activate your pass before you can use it.

Passes can be activated at any time during the period of 12 months starting from the date of purchase.

The Pass durations are valid in consecutive calendar days, so we advise that you visit your first attraction in the morning to make the most out of your visitor pass.

Important to note: If you start using your Birmingham and West Midlands Pass in the evening or late in the day that will count as your first day or the only day depending on which pass you purchase.

Some attractions, museums or entertainment venues will require you to pre-book a time for your visit in advance as to avoid queues, delays or rejection.

We recommend checking the attractions you wish to visit before you travel to avoid disappointment.

The Birmingham and West Midlands Pass can be used once per attraction. However, we encourage you to return to visit free entry museums or galleries that are included on the pass.

Many attractions included on the Birmingham and West Midlands Pass are open all year round with slight closures during Christmas periods or around public/bank holidays. We always advise to check the opening times and hours of each individual attraction when planning your to visit to Manchester. The majority of museums, attractions and restaurants included on the Birmingham and West Midlands Pass are accessible to people with disabilities. For more information, please visit our attractions page and attractions’ websites to contact them directly where necessary.

Help with your Pass

Plans change – we are happy to refund your pass purchase should you find yourself no longer able to visit.

Please note, should the date of your trip change, passes can be used at any time.

Sometimes mail gets delivered to junk folders so we advise you to check these first.
