B:Eats, a daytime and evening eatery created by B:Music, the music charity responsible for Symphony Hall and Town Hall.
Serving food and drink in the heart of Birmingham from inside the transformed spaces at Symphony Hall, B:Eats will be offering both a daytime and evening menu to run alongside music events. The daytime food features all day breakfast, brunch, lunch and sarnie offerings including the B:Eats Brummie Breakfast and the Just As Big Vegan Brekkie. Eggs Benedict.
Our house special is the Brummie Bacon Cake – the exact history of this savoury cake is somewhat mysterious, mentioned as far back as 1920s in newspaper reports and known anecdotally since the 1860s. They have 2 special ingredients – Worcestershire Sauce and Tomato Ketchup. These unusual additions stray far from a traditional savoury scone but are known to enhance the flavours of the cheese and bacon remarkably well. Head Chef Lee’s has adapted his Grandad’s own recipe of this local delicacy.
